Job description

We are hiring a Senior Network Engineer with active Aruba certifications to join our consulting bench in support of an on-call IT network and security consulting engagement for a public-sector destination marketing organization in Little Rock, Arkansas. The selected consultant will support the client’s internal six-person IT team across a multi-venue footprint that includes a convention center, performance hall, river-market event facilities, and parking facilities., * Provide expert consulting on enterprise network infrastructure: structured cabling, Layer 2 and Layer 3 switching, routing protocols, enterprise WiFi, and supporting electrical coordination.

  • Design and review Aruba wireless network deployments, including access point placement, controller architecture, and ClearPass policy management.

  • Produce network architecture diagrams, low-voltage drawings, and construction documentation as required by client projects.

  • Recommend product selections, switch refreshes, and best-practice configurations aligned to client requirements.

  • Collaborate with the client’s internal IT team and third-party vendors on troubleshooting, integration, and project delivery.

  • Support new product onboarding, module activation, and integration of third-party tools into the existing Aruba environment.

  • Document configurations, change orders, and engagement deliverables in line with the program governance model., * Senior-led delivery team with a named Project Manager as your day-to-day point of contact.

  • Direct, high-visibility engagement with client leadership.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Wireless network deployment projects?, * Active certification in at least one of: Aruba ACMA, ACMP, ACSA, or ACSP. (Certificate copy required at offer stage.)

  • Minimum 7 years of enterprise network engineering experience, including hands-on Aruba wireless deployment.

  • Strong working knowledge of Layer 2 and Layer 3 protocols (OSPF, BGP, VLAN architecture, spanning tree).

  • Experience producing network construction drawings, rack elevations, and infrastructure documentation.

  • Experience in multi-site enterprise environments (convention centers, hospitality, campuses, stadiums, healthcare, government, or comparable).

  • US work authorization without sponsorship requirements.

  • Ability to travel to Little Rock, AR as the engagement requires.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CCNA, CCNP, CWNA, or CWNP certification in addition to Aruba credentials.

  • Experience supporting public-venue networks (convention, hospitality, sports, government).

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

  • Familiarity with low-voltage and supporting electrical coordination for network buildouts.

  • Prior consulting or advisory experience in a senior, client-facing capacity., * hands-on Aruba network engineering: 7 years (Required)
  • public venue or convention center IT: 2 years (Required)
  • producing network construction drawings: 5 years (Required)

License/Certification:

  • Aruba ACMA, ACMP, ACSA, or ACSP certification (Required)
  • CCNA, CCNP, CWNA, or CWNP certification (Required)
