Full Stack / AI Engineer

We are looking for a strong Full Stack / AI Engineer to join Walmart’s team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building scalable applications, data pipelines, automation tools, and AI-powered solutions., * Develop production-grade applications using Python, Java, React, and React Native.

• Build AI-powered applications, automation tools, and operational utilities.
• Design and maintain scalable data pipelines, data models, and analytics solutions.
• Develop and integrate REST APIs and services.
• Own projects end-to-end, from requirements and design through deployment and production support.
• Troubleshoot complex technical and operational issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with Business, Product, Operations, and Engineering teams.
• Build scalable, reliable, and high-volume applications and distributed systems.
• Translate ambiguous business requirements into practical technical solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of Python development experience.
• 3+ years of Java development experience.
• 3+ years of Data Engineering and Analytics experience.
• 3+ years of experience with React, React Native, Vue, or Angular.
• Strong experience with REST APIs and services.
• Experience with scalable production applications and distributed systems.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to independently own projects from concept through production.

Must-Have Requirements

• Prior Walmart / Sam’s Club experience is REQUIRED.
• Two professional references are REQUIRED.
• Candidates should have experience working in a production engineering environment.
