Job description

Are you an experienced HRIS leader who enjoys combining technology, strategy, and people leadership? We are seeking an HRIS Manager to lead a talented HRIS team and help advance HR technology for a growing, employee-owned organization.

This is an opportunity for a consultative leader who can serve as a trusted HR technology advisor, drive system optimization, lead complex initiatives, and identify innovative ways to improve HR processes and the employee experience.

The position offers a flexible hybrid schedule.

What You’ll Do

  • Support the strategy, design, governance, and management of the organization’s Human Resources Information Systems function.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and provide consultation, guidance, and training to management and Human Resources.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external partners across all levels of the organization.
  • Lead, manage, and mentor the HRIS team while effectively balancing workloads, resources, priorities, and deadlines.
  • Lead HRIS initiatives from conception through implementation, including business case development, project management, requirements gathering, functional specifications, system testing, user acceptance testing, documentation, and training.
  • Develop short- and long-term HRIS technology strategies and roadmaps aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Partner with HR, business process owners, and other stakeholders to understand business needs and identify opportunities for system enhancements, integrations, and process improvements.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the efficiency, quality, timeliness, and accuracy of HRIS processes and systems.
  • Oversee HR system governance, optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manage quarterly system release processes, including impact analysis, regression testing, and deployment of new functionality.
  • Evaluate new system capabilities and recommend enhancements that maximize value, scalability, and user experience.
  • Ensure HR systems and data comply with applicable regulatory requirements and internal controls.
  • Maintain established quality standards across HRIS initiatives and deliverables.
  • Identify project-related risks and ensure appropriate processes are in place to protect the organization.
  • Promote a culture of quality, continuous improvement, and collaboration across the HRIS team.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field and a minimum of 10 years of related experience; or 14 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Demonstrated subject matter expertise with HR platforms and HR technology capabilities.
  • Experience with Oracle modules.
  • Advanced experience with HRIS configuration, reporting, analytics, and integrated HR technology platforms.
  • Strong project management experience, including requirements gathering, testing, implementation, and end-user training.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop an HRIS team.
  • Expert-level Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.

Why Consider This Opportunity?

This is a highly visible leadership role offering the opportunity to influence HR technology strategy, lead a talented team, and make a meaningful impact on how HR systems and processes support a growing organization.

If you’re an HRIS leader who enjoys solving complex problems, partnering with business leaders, and driving technology and process improvements, we’d love to hear from you. About Us
