IT Solution ArchitectABOUT USAt BASF Digital Hub Madrid we develop innovative digital solutions for BASF, create new exciting customer experiences and business growth, and drive efficiencies in processes, helping to strengthen BASFs position as the digital leader in the chemical industry.We believe the right path is through creativity, trial and error and great people working and learning together.Become part of our team and develop the future with us - in a global team that embraces diversity and equal opportunities.JOIN THE TEAMWe are currently seeking a talented Solutions Architect to join our team at BASFs Agricultural Solutions department Digital Factory.RESPONSIBILITIES- Central Authority on Authorization: Serve as the primary authority for authorization matters, ensuring effective communication across the organization- Drive Authorization Initiatives: Collaborate with global process owners and teams to successfully complete authorization initiatives while keeping stakeholders aligned.- Expert Guidance as SPOC: Provide specialized guidance on authorization policies and standards, acting as the Single Point of Contact for related inquiries- Approval of Exceptions: Review, approve, and oversee exceptions to authorization processes, ensuring that deviations are justified and documented.- Coordinate Authorization Testing: Facilitate and coordinate authorization testing with functional teams alongside System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).- Design Authorization Frameworks: Architect tailored authorization frameworks for business users and functions, aligning with organizational needs.- Conduct Audits and Monitor Effectiveness: Perform regular audits of authorization frameworks and processes to ensure compliance and generate reports to highlight issues and areas for improvement.REQUIREMENTS- Degree in Computer Science, with further education in IT or Digitalization- At least two years in comparable positions, demonstrating relevant expertise- Proven leadership experience within agile organizations- Significant project experience with a focus on successful outcomes- Work experience within digital teams and roles, emphasizing digital transformation- Expertise in connecting business processes with authorization concepts in downstream systems, ensuring that functional roles are clearly defined and aligned with organizational requirements.- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities, coupled with excellent communication skills (English) and familiarity with IT infrastructure, system integration, and consulting methods.NICE TO HAVE- Strong understanding of IT solutions design principles, methodologies, and best practices- Ability to conduct requirement analyses by gathering, analyzing, and translating business needs into technical solution designs.BENEFITS- Responsibility from day one in a challenging work environment and on-the-job training as part of a committed team.- Adequate compensation according to your qualifications and experienceA secure work environment because your health, safety and wellbeing is always our top priority.- Flexible work schedule and Home-office options, so that you can balance your working life and private life.- Learning and development opportunities- 23 holidays per year- Another 5 days (readjustments days) and 2 days (cultural days)- A collaborative, trustful and innovative work environment- Being part of an international team and work in global projects- Relocation assistance to Madrid providedAt BASF, the chemistry is right.Because we are counting on innovative solutions, on sustainable actions, and on connected thinking.And on you.Become a part of our formula for success and develop the future with us - in a global team that embraces diversity and equal opportunities irrespective of gender, age, origin, sexual orientation, disability or belief.agile
Requirements
Degree in Computer Science, with further education in IT or Digitalization
