Job description

We’re looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer who will work with our client’s Enterprise Security team. You’ll bring deep expertise in Ansible-driven automation of Windows, Active Directory, and LDAP environments, complemented by strong Kubernetes-on-AWS skills - while extending your impact across CI/CD, messaging, databases, and broader cloud infrastructure supporting enterprise-scale security operations.

What You’ll Do

· Automate AD/Windows administration via Ansible (user/group lifecycle, GPOs, hardening)

· Manage and tune LDAP directories; support SSO and AuthN/AuthZ integrations

· Deploy and manage Kubernetes/EKS clusters and core AWS infrastructure (EC2, S3, VPC)

· Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git)

· Support event-driven architectures using AWS SNS/SQS

· Manage database operations (backup, scaling, patching, security) across RDS, DynamoDB, and Graph DB (e.g., Neo4j)

· Implement monitoring and alerting (CloudWatch, Splunk) and support compliance/audit requirements

· Drive root cause analysis, automation improvements, and cost optimization

· Partner cross-functionally with security, infrastructure, and application teams to deliver secure, identity-first solutions at scale

What You’ll Bring (Must-Have)

· Ansible - Windows/AD/LDAP automation

· Active Directory & LDAP - administration and troubleshooting

· Kubernetes on AWS (EKS) - deployment, scaling, cluster management

· Scripting: Python, PowerShell, YAML

· Messaging: AWS SNS/SQS

· Databases: RDS, DynamoDB, Graph DB (e.g., Neo4j)

Nice to Have

· Ping Directory experience

· Java, or backend/full-stack development experience

Requirements

· Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field

· 6-8+ years of DevOps experience, with hands-on Ansible+AD/LDAP and Kubernetes-on-AWS skills (both mandatory)

· AWS Certification (DevOps Engineer or Solutions Architect) preferred

· Agile/Scrum exposure

· Strong analytical and investigative mindset

· Ability to convert technical findings into executive-friendly insights

· Excellent communication skills - interpersonal, oral, written, and documentation - with strong customer-facing presence for stakeholder presentations and discussions

Additional Attributes

· Strong organizational skills, including the ability to adapt to shifting priorities and meet frequent deadlines

· Highly resourceful, collaborative team player with a process-driven approach to security delivery - able to work independently with initiative and a sense of urgency

· Exemplifies a customer-focused, action-oriented, results-driven culture

· Proactive, forward-looking problem-solver with strong judgment and decision-making capability, a desire for continuous learning, and the initiative to propose solutions

· Ability to act with discretion and maintain complete confidentiality

· Dedicated to our client’s values of non-negotiable integrity, valuing our people, exceeding client expectations, and embracing intellectual curiosity and rigor
