Senior Security Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Senior Security Analyst to support enterprise cybersecurity operations within a large healthcare environment. This role is responsible for protecting systems, networks, and sensitive data through advanced threat detection, incident response, vulnerability management, and security engineering initiatives., * Research and analyze emerging cyber threats and vulnerabilities

• Conduct log analysis, threat investigations, and network forensic reviews
• Implement and support enterprise security tools and infrastructure
• Perform vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and risk analysis
• Develop alerting, monitoring, and detection strategies
• Support incident response and remediation efforts
• Manage and optimize SIEM, IDS/IPS, VPN, endpoint protection, and firewall technologies
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, NIST, HITRUST, PCI, and other security frameworks
• Collaborate with technical teams to strengthen overall security posture
• Provide guidance and mentorship on security best practices and tools

Do you have experience in Windows?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems or related field

• Minimum 6 years of hands-on cybersecurity/security engineering experience
• Current CompTIA Security+ certification or equivalent
• Strong experience with:
• Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR)
• SIEM tools
• Vulnerability management
• Active Directory/GPO
• Firewalls & VPNs
• Linux & Windows administration
• MFA & encryption technologies
• Threat intelligence and malware analysis

Highly Preferred

• CISSP certification
• Experience within healthcare or regulated environments
• Knowledge of HIPAA Security Rule, HITRUST, and PCI compliance frameworks, * Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems or related field
• Strong experience with:

Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR) SIEM tools Vulnerability management Active Directory/GPO Firewalls & VPNs Linux & Windows administration MFA & encryption technologies Threat intelligence and malware analysis

• Bachelor’s (Required)
