Job description

Contribute to the full development cycle of web-based applications including design and integration.
Develop and expand microservices and distributed applications within a specialized digital ecosystem.
Collaborate within a multidisciplinary agile team to ensure high-quality software delivery.
Take responsibility for the performance, scalability, and maintainability of developed solutions.
Perform coding, testing, and debugging tasks with a focus on high-quality code standards.
Support the integration of innovative technologies and AI models into existing applications.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in the development of web-based applications.
Experience with backend development using Node.js and JavaScript.
Experience with frontend development using React and CSS.
Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational database systems (RDMS).
Experience with Microservices and distributed application architecture.
Experience with RabbitMQ for messaging and integration.
Experience with containerization using Docker.
You are proactive, solution-oriented, and capable of taking technical responsibility for architectural decisions.
You are fluent in Dutch with a C2 level of proficiency.

Nice to Haves

Experience leading a development team or coaching other developers.
Knowledge of AI and Machine Learning models including LLMs (e.g., GPT, Claude, LLaMA) or VLMs.
Experience with Vector databases, Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), and prompt engineering.
Knowledge of Elixir or Redis.
Experience with Scrum and Agile development methodologies in a leading capacity.
