Job description

Candidates will serve as the primary technical expert for OneCore (pre-fabricated data centers) Integrated Thermal Systems, supporting deployment, commissioning, startup, and troubleshooting activities.

  • Provide advanced technical support to customers, field teams, and service organizations, both remotely and onsite, to resolve complex thermal, cooling, and system integration issues.

  • Partner with Product Management, R&D, Engineering, and Service teams to deploy new technologies and drive successful implementation of AI-ready data center solutions.

  • Troubleshoot and optimize cooling infrastructure, including chilled water systems, fluid networks, CDUs, heat rejection systems, and monitoring/control platforms.

  • Support Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), commissioning, quality assurance, and field deployment activities while ensuring customer satisfaction and system reliability.

  • Lead technical issue resolution, coordinate cross-functional stakeholders, and provide project oversight throughout the deployment lifecycle.

  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, troubleshooting guides, and deployment best practices to improve efficiency and reduce customer risk.

  • Analyze system performance data and fluid samples to identify potential issues and recommend corrective actions.

  • Mentor team members, share technical expertise, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Travel to customer sites as needed to support escalations, construction activities, commissioning efforts, and customer-facing technical discussions.

Ideal Profile: A customer-facing technical leader with a background in thermal systems, cooling infrastructure, data centers, or critical power environments who can manage projects, troubleshoot complex issues, and effectively communicate with customers and internal stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Data Center Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

  • 5+ years of experience supporting customers in a technical, engineering, service, or solutions-focused role.

  • Experience troubleshooting complex technical systems and supporting customers through issue resolution.

  • Strong project coordination and stakeholder management experience.

  • Experience reading and interpreting: Electrical diagrams, Piping drawings, Engineering blueprints, System architecture documentation

  • Strong organizational, troubleshooting, and customer service skills.

  • Ability to travel 50% of the time to client sites (Texas & Louisiana) * Experience supporting data center infrastructure, cooling systems, or critical facility environments.

  • Background in thermal management, fluid systems, mechanical systems, or power infrastructure.

  • Experience with: Chilled water systems, Direct Liquid Cooling (DLC), CDUs, Heat rejection systems, Cooling infrastructure

  • Experience supporting AI, hyperscale, or modular data center deployments.

  • Familiarity with building monitoring systems, controls platforms, or BMS solutions.

  • Previous experience providing remote technical support and troubleshooting for field-deployed systems.

Benefits & conditions

Salary: $140-170k + 10-15% annual bonuses
