Generative AI Engineer

Our client is seeking a Generative AI Engineer to design, build, and deploy AI-powered applications that improve business processes and user experiences. This role will focus on leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and cloud-based AI services to deliver scalable, production-ready solutions., * Design, develop, and deploy generative AI applications utilizing Large Language Models and modern AI frameworks.

• Build AI copilots, chatbots, virtual assistants, and knowledge management solutions using Azure OpenAI and related technologies.
• Develop and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures utilizing vector databases and enterprise data sources.
• Integrate AI solutions with existing business applications, APIs, and cloud platforms.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance AI application performance, accuracy, security, and scalability.

• 3+ years of software engineering experience with at least 1+ year working with Generative AI or Large Language Model solutions.
• Strong Python development experience and familiarity with AI application development frameworks such as LangChain, Semantic Kernel, LlamaIndex, or similar technologies.
• Experience building solutions using Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Services, OpenAI APIs, Anthropic Claude, or comparable AI platforms.
• Knowledge of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), embeddings, vector databases, and prompt engineering techniques.
• Experience developing and consuming REST APIs and integrating enterprise applications with AI services.
• Understanding of cloud technologies, preferably Microsoft Azure.
• Experience working with enterprise security, governance, and responsible AI practices.

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience developing Microsoft Copilot or custom copilot solutions.
• Familiarity with Azure AI Foundry, Azure Machine Learning, or AI agent development.
• Experience with document intelligence, OCR, or intelligent automation platforms.
• Knowledge of Power Platform, Power Automate, or Microsoft 365 integrations.
