Sustainability Program Lead

As the Sustainability Program Lead, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sustainability strategies that drive measurable business value across major infrastructure programmes.

Working closely with operational teams, leadership stakeholders, and external partners, you will embed sustainability considerations into key decision-making processes while improving reporting capabilities, governance standards, and programme performance., * Integrate sustainability considerations into business processes and project delivery frameworks.

• Develop tools, workflows, and guidance that promote early-stage ESG adoption across programmes.
• Identify opportunities to secure sustainability-related financial benefits, including incentives and certification-driven value.
• Develop reporting mechanisms that clearly demonstrate commercial impact to leadership teams.
• Maintain robust sustainability data governance practices, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and audit readiness.
• Lead sustainability certification efforts across eligible projects.
• Act as the internal sustainability subject matter expert for customers, leadership teams, and project stakeholders.
• Develop and manage sustainability roadmaps, milestones, KPIs, and risk registers.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance programme scalability and efficiency.

Abut the candidate:

The ideal candidate will be a proven sustainability professional with experience leading ESG or sustainability programmes within data centres, construction, real estate, industrial, or technology infrastructure environments.

You will be comfortable operating in a highly cross-functional environment, engaging with executive leadership teams, customers, consultants, and external stakeholders to deliver measurable business outcomes.

• 7+ years of experience leading sustainability or ESG programmes
• Experience within data centres, construction, industrial, real estate, or critical infrastructure sectors
• A strong understanding of sustainability certification frameworks, including Green Globes, EcoVadis, GRESB, and related programmes
• Experience with carbon accounting, embodied carbon analysis, and sustainability data governance
• Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and third-party partners to deliver projects on time and within budget
• Strong communication skills with experience acting as a subject matter expert at both customer and executive level

Preferred qualifications include:

• LEED AP, Green Globes Professional (GGP), ISSP, ENV SP, PMP, or equivalent certifications
• Familiarity with GHG Protocol, CDP, SASB, and TCFD reporting frameworks
• Experience with sustainability reporting automation, dashboarding, and AI-enabled disclosure processes
• Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability, Engineering, Environmental Science, Construction Management, Architecture, Business, or a related discipline
• Master’s degree preferred
