ServiceNow Developer - Discovery and Integrations

• Perform implementation, administration, configuration, and development within the ServiceNow ITSM application suite, including specialty areas.
• Design the DOT Service Management System and support SMS operations, including engineering and the development lifecycle.
• Determine integration methods, directionality, and attributes.
• Participate in data normalization prior to import into ServiceNow.
• Participate in platform, process, and integration testing.
• Develop and maintain Discovery schedules, pattern usage, and define roles of other integrations.
• Fulfill the role of Enterprise Integration Manager.
• Design, develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications and services.
• Deliver new functionality across applications.
• Manage and perform SMS development activities across the full lifecycle.
• Apply SDLC and DevOps principles.
• Respond to and resolve escalated SMS service requests and incidents.
• Assist the platform administrator with incident resolution.
• Participate in on-call rotation during non-business hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.

• 12+ years of relevant IT experience, including at least 6 years in administration services for a major Service Management System, preferably ServiceNow.
• Proficiency with ServiceNow Discovery and Integrations.
• Current ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist - Discovery (CIS-Disco) certification.
• Extensive knowledge of ServiceNow Discovery and Integrations.
• Experience with SNMP technologies that support Discovery Patterns.
• Experience with SOAP and REST-based API integrations.
• Current ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification., * Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Six years of experience may substitute for a degree.

Our client seeks an experienced ServiceNow Developer focused on Discovery and Integrations to support the Department of Transportation. The role will design and support the Service Management System, lead integrations, and deliver new functionality while applying SDLC and DevOps principles. The position is full-time with a rotating on-call shift and no travel.

Due to federal security clearance requirements, applicant must be a United States Citizen or Permanent Resident with an active Public Trust clearance. This is a contract to hire opportunity. Applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis and convert to FTE following contract duration. Rate: $70.00 to $80.00/hr. w2, Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
