Ag Technology Specialist

The Ag Technology Specialist position will work closely with customers, sales, service and parts to help producers get the most out of their equipment and technology investments., · Assist with setup, operation, optimization of agriculture systems

· Support factory and after market GPS, mapping and data management technologies

· Perform installations, calibrations, updates and troubleshooting of equipment

· Help customers understand and effectively use technology

· Troubleshoot technology issues remotely and in the field

· Maintain accurate records of installations, service calls, customer information and technology configurations

· Stay current on new technology, software updates and industry trends

· Work closely with the Service Team to diagnose and resolve issues

· Handle work orders for warranty and non-warranty service work pertaining to this position

· Work closely with the Sales Team to demonstrate solutions and assist with customer presentations

· Build strong relationships through responsive and knowledgeable support

· Other tasks as assigned by the Manager

· High School diploma or equivalent is required

· Agricultural background or education

· Experience with agriculture systems and platforms

· Strong understanding of modern farming practices and agricultural equipment

· Must be comfortable working with computers, tablets, GPS systems, displays, software and mobile technology

· Ability to learn technology and stay current with the industry

· Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills

· Experience in a customer service field preferred

· Excellent communication and customer service skills

· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

· Honest, dependable and self-motivated

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

· Must have a reputable driving history and a valid driver’s license

· Willingness to travel and work extended flexible hours during peak agricultural seasons

· Frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds

· Ability to climb on and around agricultural equipment

· Ability to work 45 hours per week
