Data Analyst

Are you an intellectually curious and thoughtful individual with a love for pets? Nulo is seeking a talented Data Analyst to join our Finance team. This role will work within the Finance department to develop, organize and manage data from multiple data sources to be housed within one system. The role sits at the intersection of engineering, analytics, and project management, requiring both technical depth and strong communication skills. This role will be responsible for building and maintaining ETL processes, operational tools, and dashboards in the company’s current systems, including but not limited to Palantir Foundry and NetSuite, that will create and drive quality data-driven executive level decision making. This role will also work very closely with stakeholders across the organization. WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Develop and manage data integration, fidelity, and reporting.
• Accurately collect and manage data in the data warehouse, ensuring that it enables the creation of insightful dashboards that will drive quality executive decision making.
• Convert data from multiple data sources in various formats into a single reporting object to create a streamlined, efficient process for incorporating regular data updates into the data warehouse.
• Build tools to support efficient business processes in the company’s current systems, including but not limited to Palantir Foundry and NetSuite.
• Use advanced data modeling, AI, predictive modeling, data science, and analytical techniques to draw insights from company data and convert these insights into strategic and business outcomes.
• Collaborate with key business functions, including Operations, Sales, Marketing, and more to create dashboards, operational applications, and AI solutions that drive business outcomes and effective decision making in their group.
• Be a data steward and go-to resource for all things data and financial systems at the company.

Do you have experience in TypeScript?, * 2+ years of experience in a data analyst or equivalent role.

• Ability to decipher and organize large amounts of data.
• Analytical mindset with superb communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to translate complex problems clearly and in nontechnical terms.
• Intellectually curious and ability to problem solve.
• Exceptional organizational skills and detail-oriented nature.
• Outstanding work ethic, demonstrating dedication and persistence in achieving results.
• Skills: Python (PySpark experience preferred), BI tool experience (Looker, Power BI, Tableau, etc.), Microsoft Excel.
• Skills (preferred): NetSuite, Palantir Foundry.
• Skills (bonus): Javascript/Typescript, SQL.
• Finance and/or business experience is a plus.
