Project Manager - NIS2

We are seeking an experienced NIS2 Project Manager to lead a large-scale compliance transformation initiative focused on achieving and maintaining alignment with the European Union’s Network and Information Security Directive (NIS2). This role requires a strong blend of program management, cybersecurity compliance expertise, stakeholder engagement, and hands-on reporting automation capabilities. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering global enterprise security and compliance programs end-to-end while driving operational improvements through data visualization and reporting automation.

• Lead and manage NIS2 compliance initiatives across multiple international jurisdictions.
• Coordinate compliance assessments, remediation activities, and control implementation efforts to meet NIS2 regulatory requirements.
• Interpret and align security controls, policies, and procedures with applicable NIS2 bylaws and regional regulatory obligations.
• Develop and maintain project plans, risk registers, status reporting, executive communications, and governance structures.
• Partner with security, technology, risk, legal, audit, and business stakeholders to drive remediation efforts to completion.
• Completely redesign and modernize the current compliance reporting process.
• Eliminate manual spreadsheet- and PowerPoint-based reporting by implementing automated, scalable reporting solutions.
• Design, build, and maintain executive-level Power BI dashboards that provide real-time visibility into compliance status, remediation progress, risk posture, and key performance indicators.
• Establish reporting standards and metrics that support executive decision-making and regulatory readiness.
• Track project milestones, dependencies, risks, and issues while ensuring successful program delivery within defined timelines.

Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship not available., * 7+ years of experience managing enterprise cybersecurity, governance, risk, and compliance (GRC), or regulatory compliance programs.

• Demonstrated experience leading large-scale global compliance or security transformation initiatives.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity regulatory frameworks and compliance management practices.
• Advanced Power BI development capabilities, including dashboard design, data modeling, automation, and executive reporting.
• Experience translating regulatory requirements into actionable remediation plans and measurable compliance outcomes.
• Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders across international business units and functions.
• Strong project management, communication, and executive presentation skills.

• Experience driving process improvement and reporting automation initiatives.

• Experience with NIS2, ISO 27001, NIST CSF, CIS Controls, or similar security frameworks.
• Background in enterprise risk management, cybersecurity governance, or regulatory compliance programs.
• Experience working within multinational organizations operating across European jurisdictions.
• PMP, PRINCE2, CISM, CRISC, CISSP, or similar certifications.
