Senior Healthcare Project Manager - Onsite Chicago

Candidates must have at least 5 years of healthcare administration/project-management experience and at least 2 years supporting clinical quality or process-improvement initiatives within a teaching-hospital environment., * Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.

• Minimum 5 years of full-time professional experience in healthcare administration and/or project management.
• Minimum 2 years of healthcare experience facilitating clinical quality-improvement initiatives in a teaching-hospital environment.
• Minimum 1 year of experience using Microsoft Project or a comparable project-management tool.
• Lean Six Sigma training or certification.
• Strong knowledge of project-management practices including scope, schedule, budget, risk, issue, and dependency management.
• Experience working across clinical, operational, business, technical, and executive stakeholder groups.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to independently manage multiple complex projects at different stages of execution.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
• Must be available to work onsite in Chicago, Illinois., * Master’s degree in Business Administration, Public Policy, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
• PMP or CAPM certification.
• Healthcare quality and/or patient-safety certification.
• Knowledge of Joint Commission requirements.
• Healthcare finance experience.
• Experience leading change within a complex healthcare organization.
• Experience with clinical redesign, healthcare transformation, or large-scale hospital process-improvement initiatives, * healthcare administration/project management: 5 years (Required)
• teaching-hospital clinical process improvement: 2 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• Lean Six Sigma Certification (Preferred)
