Quality Systems Engineer in Yuma

2-4 years of quality assurance or quality engineering experience in a manufacturing or automotive environment. \n

• \n Strong knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and APQP methodologies. \n

• \n Experience with quality tools including FMEA, PPAP, and Statistical Process Control (SPC)., Strong problem-solving skills utilizing methodologies such as 8D, 5 Why, and Ishikawa.

• \n Maintain and improve the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with automotive industry and customer quality requirements. \n

• \n Lead internal audits of manufacturing processes and quality systems to verify compliance with IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 standards. \n

• \n Manage quality documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), policies, and quality manuals. \n

• \n Drive corrective and preventive action initiatives to address internal and customer-related quality issues. \n

• \n Analyze quality data and metrics to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and process optimization. \n

• \n Serve as a key liaison between operations, engineering, and customer-facing teams to align on quality objectives and issue resolution. \n

How You Will Do It

• \n Administer and maintain the Quality Management System in accordance with IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 requirements. \n

• \n Plan, coordinate, and lead internal quality audits, ensuring effective follow-up on findings and corrective actions. \n

• \n Manage document control processes, including the review, approval, and update of quality-related documentation. \n

• \n Facilitate Root Cause Analysis (RCA) activities and implement CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions) processes. \n

• \n Utilize quality tools such as FMEA, PPAP, and Statistical Process Control (SPC) to improve process performance and product quality. \n

• \n Apply problem-solving methodologies including 8D, 5 Why, and Ishikawa to resolve quality concerns. \n

• \n Monitor key quality metrics and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives. \n
