Remote Data Analyst (Looker/Tableau Report Building)

The Senior Data Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, accessibility, and reporting of data used across critical digital health products. This individual will support end-to-end analytics workflows including data validation, tracking QA, business performance analysis, dashboard development, and troubleshooting reporting discrepancies.

In addition to traditional analytics responsibilities, this individual will play a key role in supporting the rollout of new data infrastructure initiatives designed to improve how data is captured, stored, and consumed across the organization., Analytics & Reporting

• Develop, maintain, and optimize reporting solutions and dashboards within Looker.

• Translate business requirements into actionable reporting and analytics deliverables.

• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, performance drivers, and opportunities for optimization.

• Deliver insights that enable data-driven decisions across Product, Engineering, and Business teams.

Data Validation & QA

• Execute site and application tracking audits to ensure data accuracy and consistency.

• Validate event tracking implementations and troubleshoot discrepancies in collected data.

• Perform data quality checks across multiple reporting systems and sources.

• Investigate anomalies and partner with stakeholders to identify root causes.

SQL Development & Analysis

• Write complex SQL queries to support analysis, reporting, testing, and validation efforts.

• Extract, manipulate, and transform large datasets from various sources.

• Partner with engineers and data teams to ensure reporting layers accurately reflect underlying business logic.

Data Infrastructure Support

• Contribute to ongoing efforts to stand up and enhance analytics infrastructure.

• Assist in ensuring data is properly structured, organized, and available for reporting and analysis.

• Support data flow validation and troubleshooting as new pipelines and data sources are introduced.

• Collaborate with engineering teams on data architecture initiatives impacting reporting accuracy and accessibility.

Cross-Functional Partnership

• Work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Analysts, and Business stakeholders.

• Communicate technical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Help prioritize analytics requests in a fast-moving environment with competing priorities.

• Provide recommendations and consultative guidance around reporting and measurement best practices.

This engagement is ideal for experienced analysts who can step into a fast-paced environment, quickly establish credibility, and begin contributing with minimal ramp-up time. While much of the work centers on core analytics functions such as SQL development, dashboarding, and data validation, the team is also undergoing significant data infrastructure enhancements that will require strong analytical thinking and technical adaptability.

The organization is looking for consultants who can operate independently, drive work forward proactively, and serve as trusted partners to Engineering, Product, and Business stakeholders., The ideal candidate possesses strong SQL expertise, hands-on Looker experience, an understanding of digital tracking methodologies, and the ability to work independently in a highly collaborative environment., * 5+ years of experience in a Data Analyst, Product Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst, or similar role.

• Advanced SQL skills with demonstrated experience writing complex queries and performing data analysis.

• Hands-on experience building, maintaining, and enhancing dashboards in Looker (Tableau would be okay, but it’s 65/35 Looker to Tableau)

• Strong experience with data validation, QA processes, and troubleshooting data integrity issues.

• Experience supporting web, product, mobile, or digital analytics environments.

• Ability to independently manage projects and deliver outcomes with minimal oversight.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. * Experience supporting digital product teams and user behavior analytics.

• Familiarity with website and application tracking methodologies.

• Understanding of event-based analytics implementations.

• Exposure to modern cloud-based data platforms and data infrastructure initiatives.

• Experience working within healthcare, health technology, or consumer-facing digital products.

• Prior experience joining teams during periods of high growth, organizational change, or rapid scaling.
