Embedded Firmware Leader

• Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering\n
• Minimum, cumulative GPA of 3.00 for all degrees earned \n
• 8+ years of experience post academics \n
• 3+ years of experience in team leadership and supervision\n
• Demonstrable experience in firmware development (C, C++)\n, * Experience developing firmware for connected devices, IoT platforms, or smart home systems\n
• Comfortable working cross-functionally across engineering disciplines and product management \n
• Demonstrated success leading software teams or projects\n
• A passion for coaching and mentoring junior engineers\n
• Proven troubleshooting skills across system boundaries, including diagnosing issues reported from field or customer environments \n

• Lead a high-performing firmware engineering team by coaching engineers, setting clear expectations, and creating a culture of ownership and accountability \n
• Translate real-world customer and device constraints into scalable firmware solutions\n
• Deliver world-class automated manufacturing testing solutions for the products being developed \n
• Drive cross-team technical alignment for features spanning firmware, embedded Linux, cloud services, and client applications\n
• Balance long-term maintainability with near-term product delivery\n
• Drive consensus with appropriate stakeholders\n
• Mentor junior software engineers\n
• Implement, unit-test, and integrate solutions in collaboration with multiple developers\n
• Work with senior engineers to review solutions\n
• Resolve technical issues, reported bugs and field issues in a timely manner\n
