IBM Sterling OMS

Lead the delivery and operational excellence of enterprise-scale IBM Sterling OMS solutions. The role requires expertise in distributed order management, inventory visibility, fulfillment orchestration, enterprise integration, performance engineering, production support, and technical governance across omnichannel retail programs., * Own end-to-end OMS solution architecture, technical design, and engineering governance; collaborate with development, infrastructure, and business teams to resolve complex issues.

• Lead IBM Sterling OMS support operations, ensuring platform availability, stability, and performance; serve as the primary technical contact for US-based customers and stakeholders.
• Manage incidents, problems, and change requests within a production support environment, with disciplined prioritization, communication, and closure.
• Perform root-cause analysis, implement preventive actions, and drive code quality, performance tuning, and production stabilization.
• Drive continuous improvement across support processes while ensuring adherence to agreed SLAs, KPIs, release controls, and operational standards.

MUST-HAVE COMPETENCIES

• IBM Sterling OMS 9.x configuration, customization, solution design, and order orchestration.
• Inventory management and retail omnichannel fulfillment, including BOPIS and Ship From Store.
• Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, microservices, REST APIs, IBM MQ, Oracle PL/SQL, and WebSphere.
• CI/CD, Docker/Kubernetes, Agile delivery, production support, and performance troubleshooting.

LEADERSHIP & DOMAIN

• Technical leadership, stakeholder communication, mentoring, and code-review governance.
• Cross-functional collaboration, issue ownership, release support, and onshore/offshore coordination.
• Strong retail and eCommerce domain knowledge.
