Embedded Systems Engineer

In this role, you’ll work across the entire product lifecycle-from concept and system architecture through integration and validation-collaborating with global teams to deliver innovative, reliable, and compliant solutions.

What You’ll Do

• Define and manage system and subsystem requirements using INCOSE systems engineering principles.
• Develop functional specifications, interface requirements, system modes, and control logic.
• Ensure requirements are clear, traceable, and validated throughout the product lifecycle.
• Partner with hardware, software, controls, and test teams to drive successful system integration.
• Manage requirements, issue tracking, and change control using JIRA and Confluence.
• Support system integration, functional testing, troubleshooting, and validation activities.
• Contribute to end-of-line (EOL) testing, commissioning, and diagnostic strategies.
• Participate in technical reviews and support continuous improvement of systems engineering practices.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering
• Experience in Systems Engineering or Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
• Background in HVAC, automotive, rail, aerospace, energy systems, or similar industries
• Experience with system requirements development, lifecycle management, functional decomposition, and interface management
• Hands-on experience with engineering tools for requirements and documentation management, * Master’s degree in a related engineering discipline
• Knowledge of embedded control systems and communication protocols (CAN, RS-485, BLE, Ethernet, Wi-Fi)
• Experience with HVAC controls, smart home technologies, energy management, or connected products
• Familiarity with OTA updates, telemetry frameworks, INCOSE SE Handbook, ISO 15288, and MBSE methodologies
