Technical Product Owner (Aeronautics Sector)

Are you interested in continuing your career as aProduct Ownerin aleading multinational technology company, working oncutting-edge AI-driven solutionsthat are transforming the aviation industry?Would you like to play a key role in defining the product strategy for ahighly technical platform, collaborating withEngineering, Data Science, and Airline Operationsteams in an agile and innovative environment?AtOxigent Technologies, we are looking for aTechnical Product Ownerto join an exciting project within theaviation sector.You will be responsible for theorchestration layer of an AI-powered flight optimization platform, ensuring that multiple optimization modules work together seamlessly to deliver asingle, globally optimized flight planfor airline customers.What will be your main responsibilities?Define and own the product vision and roadmapfor the orchestration platform.Design the coordination logicthat synchronizes multiple AI-powered flight optimization modules into a unified optimization process.Define thefunctional requirementsgoverning interactions between optimization modules, ensuringconsistent execution and conflict resolution.Own theshared flight context model, ensuring critical flight data is consistently propagated across all optimization components.Define strategies supportingmultiple module versionsandairline-specific configurationswhile maintaining module independence.Standardizeoptimization recommendationsand the calculation offuel, time, and cost savingsacross the platform.Collaborate closely withEngineering, Data Science, Platform Engineering, and Airline Operationsteams to translate complex technical challenges intoclear product requirements.What will you need?Bachelor’s or Master’s degreein Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.5+ years of experienceas aProduct Owner or Product Manager, ideally managingplatform, integration, or technically complex products.Previous technical background as a Software Developer / Engineer, with hands-on experience understanding software development, architecture, APIs, and technical environments.Strong understanding ofdistributed systems, service orchestration, API contracts, versioning strategies, system integration, Docker, and Kubernetes.Experience working withmultiple technical stakeholdersin complex product environments.Ability totranslate technical constraints into clear product vision and prioritized roadmaps.Solid knowledge of aeronautics and airline operations.Fluent English (C1 level).English-only speakers are welcome.Nice to have: Experience withAI-driven or optimization-based products.Knowledge offlight optimization solutions.Experience withFlight Management Systems (FMS), avionics, or airline operations.Familiarity withevent-driven architecturesandasynchronous systems.Experience definingobservability and monitoring standardsfor distributed systems.What do we offer?Permanent contractthrough Oxigent Technologies.Competitive salarybased on your experience (up to€55,000 gross per year).Hybrid working model:3 days on-site (Poblenou, Barcelona)and2 days remote.Training voucherto support your professional development in the areas that interest you most.Private health insurance.Flexible compensation packageincluding health insurance, meal vouchers, transport, childcare, and training.Access to asports and wellness platformoffering discounts at gyms and sports activities across Spain.And many more benefits!Join Oxigent Technologies!We are committed tosustainabilityandequal opportunities, creating an environment wheretalent and technology thrive together.

Previous technical background as a Software Developer / Engineer , with hands-on experience understanding software development, architecture, APIs, and technical environments. Strong understanding of distributed systems, service orchestration, API contracts, versioning strategies, system integration, Docker, and Kubernetes . Experience working with multiple technical stakeholders in complex product environments. Ability to translate technical constraints into clear product vision and prioritized roadmaps . Solid knowledge of aeronautics and airline operations . Fluent English (C1 level) . English-only speakers are welcome . Nice to have: Experience with AI-driven or optimization-based products . Knowledge of flight optimization solutions . Experience with Flight Management Systems (FMS), avionics, or airline operations . Familiarity with event-driven architectures and asynchronous systems . Experience defining observability and monitoring standards for distributed systems.
