Job description

Insight Global’s client, a leading company within the technology and gaming space, is seeking an IAM Analyst to join their Identity & Access Management team . This individual will support day-to-day identity operations across a large enterprise environment, working primarily within Okta and SailPoint. This role is heavily focused on IAM operations, access management, troubleshooting, and customer support. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience supporting identity platforms, investigating access issues, and managing identity lifecycle processes. While there may be opportunities to participate in automation and engineering initiatives over time, the primary focus will be supporting IAM operations and helping maintain a secure, scalable identity ecosystem.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Manage and resolve IAM support tickets related to access requests, account issues, provisioning, authentication, and authorization
  • Troubleshoot user access issues across Okta, SailPoint, Active Directory, Entra ID, and integrated enterprise applications
  • Support identity lifecycle management activities including joiner, mover, leaver (JML) processes, onboarding, transfers, and deprovisioning
  • Investigate provisioning failures, access discrepancies, and authentication issues
  • Assist with access reviews, certifications, governance processes, and compliance-related activities
  • Support Okta and SailPoint administration, configuration, and operational maintenance
  • Partner with end users, application owners, and internal stakeholders to resolve access-related issues
  • Create and maintain operational documentation, troubleshooting guides, and process documentation
  • Escalate complex technical issues to senior IAM engineers as appropriate
  • Participate in an on-call rotation with the broader IAM team

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of Identity & Access Management (IAM) experience
  • Hands-on experience administering or supporting Okta

Experience with SailPoint IdentityNow / Identity Security Cloud (ISC)

  • Experience troubleshooting identity and access-related issues
  • Understanding of identity lifecycle management, provisioning, deprovisioning, and access governance concepts
  • Experience supporting SSO, MFA, SAML, OAuth, OIDC, or LDAP integrations
  • Familiarity with Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, and enterprise identity platforms
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment - Experience working in SaaS, technology, gaming, or other fast-paced enterprise environments
  • Exposure to PowerShell, Python, APIs, REST services, JSON, or automation tooling
  • Experience with identity governance processes such as access reviews, certifications, and role management
  • Okta and/or SailPoint certifications
  • Experience supporting cloud-based identity platforms
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, MIS, or a related field
