Job description

As a Data Analytics, Data Science & AI Manager, you will lead the strategic transformation of complex operational data into cutting-edge AI and advanced analytics solutions. Operating at the intersection of supply chain execution, predictive engineering, and machine learning, you will drive the design and deployment of end-to-end data products, automated workflows, and enterprise AI models across the Procurement Operations Cabin Supply Chain and Quality environment. Bridging the gap between modern IT infrastructure and core business operations, you will serve as a key technical leader-fostering an AI-first, data-driven culture to optimize end-to-end performance and business excellence., You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Experience the special flair of Hamburg in your spare time where vibrant cosmopolitan culture meets nautical legacy., AI Strategy, Data Science & Predictive Analytics: Architect intelligent automation workflows and decision-support systems that embed AI directly into daily operational and procurement processes

  • Data Architecture, Pipeline & Data Engineering Leadership: Ensure robust data governance, pipeline efficiency, and data quality standards across all analytics products
  • Analytics Delivery, Stakeholder Management & Visualization: Serve as the primary technical interface and thought partner between operational business units, executive stakeholders, and the broader IT/Data engineering ecosystem
  • Process Engineering & Operational Impact: Identify high-impact opportunities where advanced analytics, natural language processing, and computer vision/ML can drive process efficiency, cost reduction, and quality improvement

Requirements

Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Business Analytics, Operations Research or a related quantitative field

  • Deep expertise in Data Engineering / Data modeling and business intelligence tools (e.g., Skywise, Power BI, Tableau)
  • Domain & Process Expertise: Proven track record leading data science initiatives within aerospace, automotive, supply chain, or complex manufacturing industries. Solid foundation in continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Agile/Scrum)
  • Outstanding ability to articulate complex technical architectures, model outcomes, and AI capabilities to non-technical executive leadership and cross-functional teams
  • Advanced proficiency in Python and production-grade SQL (skills in R or additional languages are a plus)
  • Ideally, proven hands-on experience deploying Machine Learning algorithms, predictive analytics, or enterprise AI/LLM solutions in operational environments
  • Languages: Fluency in English is required; German skills are beneficial, This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company’s success, reputation and sustainable growth
