Senior Data Engineer

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to help build and modernize enterprise data platforms that support reporting, analytics, integrations, and business decision-making. This individual will play a key role in designing and implementing data warehouse solutions, developing ETL processes, supporting application integrations, and delivering reliable data assets across the organization.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in enterprise data warehousing, ETL development, database technologies, and systems integration. Experience with reporting and business intelligence tools is highly desired, though the primary focus will be data engineering and platform development.

Responsibilities include:

• Designing and supporting enterprise data warehouses and future-state data lake environments

• Developing ETL/ELT processes and data pipelines

• Building integrations between enterprise applications and data platforms

• Supporting reporting, dashboarding, and business intelligence initiatives

• Creating scalable solutions for data movement, transformation, and storage

• Working with technical and business teams to define data requirements

• Contributing to enterprise architecture and modernization efforts

• 8+ years of Data Engineering experience

• Experience designing, building, and maintaining enterprise data warehouses and data lake environments

• Strong SQL and database development experience (Oracle, SQL Server, or comparable technologies)

• Hands-on experience developing ETL/ELT pipelines and data integration solutions

• Experience working with enterprise-scale reporting and analytics environments

• Experience integrating data across multiple systems and applications

• Strong understanding of data modeling, database architecture, and data movement best practices

• Experience supporting business intelligence and reporting initiatives * Oracle Cloud, Oracle Fusion ERP, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)

• SnapLogic, SSIS, Informatica, Data Factory, Talend, or similar ETL platforms

• Power BI or other dashboard/reporting tools

• API integrations

• Cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, Snowflake, or Fabric

• ERP, CRM, HCM, SIS, or LMS integration experience
