IT Technician

Our client is looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join their Cloud Based Services team. The successful applicant will have a good understanding of the various technologies underpinning a multi-tenanted Cloud environment and may have participated in projects involving the design, delivery and management of new or upgraded client facing environments.

You must have hands on practical experience in the following:

• Management and configuration of VMware Virtualisation Technologies including clustered/resilient configurations, SRM (DR), failover and backup routines, monitoring, capacity planning and optimisation
• Management and configuration of Windows Server 2008R2 & 2012, in various roles and functions (IIS, AD, DNS, FSRM, SQL, clustered and HA)
• Management and configuration of different enterprise storage technologies (NAS, SAN)
• Management and configuration of Router, Firewall, Switches and other network infrastructure to the TCP/IP level including VLAN’s, port management etc.
• Troubleshooting and optimisation of enterprise applications running in Cloud environments.

Salary: upto £45k dependant on experience plus on-call allowance
