Job description

Develop and maintain applications using C#, React and TypeScript
Work across both greenfield and legacy projects
Design and develop solutions using microservices architectures
Build and maintain RESTful and GraphQL APIs
Work with SQL Server and third-party API/SaaS integrations
Contribute to continuous delivery through modern Git workflows and CI/CD pipelines
Produce high-quality, well-tested code using development best practices
Participate in code reviews and occasional pair programming
Mentor junior members of the development team, This is a remote-first position, with access to an office in central London when required. The company offers flexible working arrangements, including 10-4 core hours across a 37.5-hour week, with options for part-time working or compressed 9-day fortnights.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years’ commercial experience with React and TypeScript
Minimum 5 years’ commercial experience with C#
Strong understanding of modern software development practices
Knowledge and preferably commercial experience with microservice design principles
Experience with modern Git workflows
Strong understanding of project goals and the ability to make pragmatic technical decisions
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Experience or willingness to mentor junior developers
A strong focus on writing high-quality, tested code

Desirable Experience:

Docker and Kubernetes
Azure and Vercel
Jenkins or Bitbucket Pipelines
RabbitMQ / MassTransit
Microfrontends
Test Driven Development
RESTful API and GraphQL development
Third-party API and SaaS integrations
