Job description

  • Develop and maintain applications using C#, React and TypeScript
  • Work across both greenfield and legacy projects
  • Design and develop solutions using microservices architectures
  • Build and maintain RESTful and GraphQL APIs
  • Work with SQL Server and third-party API/SaaS integrations
  • Contribute to continuous delivery through modern Git workflows and CI/CD pipelines
  • Produce high-quality, well-tested code using development best practices
  • Participate in code reviews and occasional pair programming
  • Mentor junior members of the development team, This is a remote-first position, with access to an office in central London when required. The company offers flexible working arrangements, including 10-4 core hours across a 37.5-hour week, with options for part-time working or compressed 9-day fortnights.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years’ commercial experience with React and TypeScript
  • Minimum 5 years’ commercial experience with C#
  • Strong understanding of modern software development practices
  • Knowledge and preferably commercial experience with microservice design principles
  • Experience with modern Git workflows
  • Strong understanding of project goals and the ability to make pragmatic technical decisions
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience or willingness to mentor junior developers
  • A strong focus on writing high-quality, tested code

Desirable Experience:

  • Docker and Kubernetes
  • Azure and Vercel
  • Jenkins or Bitbucket Pipelines
  • RabbitMQ / MassTransit
  • Microfrontends
  • Test Driven Development
  • RESTful API and GraphQL development
