Job description
Starbucks is seeking a Senior Application Developer to design, build, and support scalable applications that power our global coffee retail and digital experiences. In this Seattle-based role, you’ll collaborate with product, design, and operations teams to deliver secure, high-quality software for ordering, loyalty, payments, and store operations. You’ll write clean, testable code, integrate APIs and cloud services, and contribute to CI/CD and DevOps practices. - Collaborate with product owners, designers, and cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Write clean, testable, and well-documented code following Starbucks engineering standards
- Integrate APIs and third-party services to support payments, ordering, loyalty, and store operations
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for performance, reliability, and security
- Participate in code reviews, mentoring, and knowledge sharing with other developers
- Contribute to Dev
- Ops practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-based deployments
- Ensure adherence to data privacy, compliance, and security best practices
