Job description

Design, develop, enhance, and maintain scalable PHP web applications.
Develop reusable and maintainable PHP components and web services.
Integrate PHP applications with databases, APIs, and third-party systems.
Develop responsive and interactive UI components using jQuery, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
Deploy and support applications on Microsoft Azure.
Troubleshoot application, performance, and production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
Implement application security, coding standards, and performance best practices.
Participate in code reviews, testing, release management, and production deployments.
Collaborate with business analysts, QA teams, architects, and other developers.
Work effectively within Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
Prepare technical documentation and contribute to continuous improvement.

Requirements

We are seeking an experienced Senior PHP Web Application Developer with 12+ years of experience in designing, developing, maintaining, and enhancing enterprise web applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in PHP, Azure, and jQuery, along with experience working in Agile environments. Mandatory Technical Skills * PHP - Strong hands-on experience in PHP web application development, debugging, maintenance, and performance optimization.

Microsoft Azure - Experience deploying, configuring, monitoring, and supporting PHP-based applications on Azure.
jQuery - Strong experience developing dynamic and interactive web interfaces using jQuery and JavaScript., * 12+ years of professional software development experience.
Strong hands-on experience with PHP web applications.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud services.
Strong experience with jQuery and JavaScript.
Experience with web technologies such as HTML5 and CSS.
Strong understanding of REST APIs and web services.
Experience with relational databases and SQL.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) or equivalent degree.

Preferred Skills

PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter.
Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Storage, Azure SQL, and Azure DevOps.
CI/CD and source-control tools such as Git.
API integration and microservices.
Application performance optimization and security best practices.
