Job description
The HRIS Integration Analyst is responsible for the design, development, implementation, maintenance, and support of Workday and UKG integrations. This role serves as a subject matter expert for HR technology integrations, security administration, reporting, and system optimization. The ideal candidate combines strong technical integration expertise with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable HR technology solutions. Key Responsibilities Integration Development & Support
- Lead the design, development, testing, deployment, and support of HRIS integrations.
- Participate in requirements gathering and discovery sessions for new integration initiatives.
- Develop and maintain Workday integrations, including:
- Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB)
- Workday Studio
- APIs
- Cloud Connectors
- Inbound and outbound integrations
- XSLT transformations
- BIRT reporting solutions
- Create and maintain integration mapping documents and technical specifications.
- Design, test, and deploy complex inbound and outbound data exchange processes.
- Support post-implementation activities, including troubleshooting, optimization, and ongoing maintenance.
- Promote integrations and configurations across development, testing, sandbox, and production environments.
Security & Configuration
- Administer HRIS security and access controls.
- Configure and maintain role-based and user-based security groups.
- Develop and maintain calculated fields, business process configurations, and custom reporting solutions.
- Create and modify business form layouts and related system configurations.
Analysis & Solution Design
- Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Develop detailed functional and technical design documentation, including integration architecture diagrams.
- Identify system risks, process gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
- Recommend and implement solutions that enhance efficiency, data quality, and system performance.
Collaboration & Support
- Partner with HR, Payroll, IT, and business stakeholders to deliver effective HR technology solutions.
- Provide ongoing production support and issue resolution.
- Serve as a backup resource for other HRIS team functions as needed.
- Maintain documentation, standards, and best practices related to integrations and system administration.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Human Resources, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience working with Workday HCM and UKG (Kronos).
- Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience supporting enterprise IT implementations involving system integrations.
- Experience designing, developing, and maintaining cloud-based application integrations.
- Strong customer service orientation with a focus on stakeholder support.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and presentation skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of five (5) years of Human Resources technology experience.
- Experience supporting organizations within healthcare or other highly regulated industries.
- Workday Pro Certification in Integrations, Studio, or related Workday technologies.
- Experience with enterprise HRIS security administration and governance.
