HCM Solutions Developer

The HCM Solutions Developer – Boomi / UKG is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting scalable Human Capital Management (HCM) integration solutions across cloud, SaaS, and on-premises platforms. This role serves as a technical lead for HRIS integrations involving Workday, UKG Pro Workforce Management (WFM), Boomi, and other enterprise applications. The position also functions as the UKG Pro WFM administrator, supporting workforce management modules while ensuring data integrity, process automation, and seamless system interoperability., * Serve as the primary HRIS integration developer and security administrator.

• Function as the administrator for UKG Pro WFM modules, including Time & Attendance, Advanced Scheduling, Accruals, Leave Management, Data Hub, and Analytics.
• Configure and maintain role-based and user-based security groups.
• Ensure system reliability, availability, and data integrity across HR technology platforms.
• Support ticket management and issue resolution through enterprise service management platforms.

Integration Development & Architecture

• Design, develop, test, implement, and maintain enterprise integration solutions across Workday, UKG, Boomi, ServiceNow, Splunk, GoAnywhere, and other business applications.
• Develop integrations utilizing APIs, cloud connectors, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Workday Studio, inbound/outbound interfaces, and data transformation tools.
• Create XSLT transformations and data mappings to support integration requirements.
• Configure and optimize integration environments, including security protocols, authentication methods, scheduling, and performance tuning.
• Migrate integrations between development, testing, and production environments.
• Provide post-production support and ongoing maintenance for deployed integrations.

Data Management & Reporting

• Develop and support complex database queries and reporting solutions.
• Create calculated fields and reporting enhancements within enterprise applications.
• Document integration mappings, technical specifications, workflows, and standard operating procedures.
• Monitor integrations, investigate failures, and proactively resolve warnings, errors, and critical issues.
• Ensure consistent and accurate data flow between interconnected systems.

Technical Leadership & Collaboration

• Lead and mentor team members on integration architecture, development standards, and best practices.
• Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and frameworks that improve efficiency, scalability, and solution quality.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, vendors, and project teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Facilitate meetings, coordinate project activities, and provide regular status updates to stakeholders and governance committees.
• Develop technical roadmaps and integration strategies aligned with organizational objectives.

Project & Change Management

• Support project planning, documentation, testing, deployment, and change management activities.
• Identify risks, dependencies, and potential issues while developing mitigation strategies.
• Maintain compliance with established configuration management, testing, and documentation standards.
• Participate in governance processes, project reviews, and implementation planning.
• Serve as a backup resource for team members as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Human Resources Information Systems, or a related field.
• 5+Â years of technical and configuration experience with UKG Pro WFM (Dimensions).
• 5+Â years of experience designing, developing, implementing, and supporting integration and middleware solutions.
• 3+Â years of experience with API design, API management, and API gateway technologies.
• Strong knowledge of XML, JSON, RESTful services, SOAP, source control, and software testing methodologies.
• Experience working with cloud platforms and enterprise applications.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to consistently deliver high-quality results across multiple projects and priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience supporting healthcare organizations or other highly regulated industries.
• Strong IT background with expertise in ERP ecosystems, data architecture, and enterprise integrations.
• UKG certifications.
• Boomi certifications, including API Design, API Management, Master Data Hub, EDI X12, or equivalent credentials.
• PMP certification.
• Experience with Python, Workday Studio, SQL, or related technologies.
