Daily Responsibilities *

Conduct hands-on laboratory testing and experimental work as directed by the manager or technical coach. *

Execute established test procedures and generate reliable, reproducible results to support project objectives.

• Accurately document, compile, and summarize experimental data and observations. *

Maintain complete and traceable records of test inputs, methodologies, and results. *

Communicate findings, unexpected observations, and recommendations to technical team members and project stakeholders.

• Support packaging development activities by creating and maintaining technical drawings and documentation. *

Ensure all work is conducted in compliance with quality assurance principles, laboratory standards, and safety requirements. *

Utilize digital tools and systems to manage data, technical specifications, and project documentation.

We are looking for a motivated and hands-on Associate Researcher to join our Packaging Development team. In this role, you will support day-to-day applied research activities by conducting laboratory testing, executing established procedures, documenting results, and contributing to the development and validation of packaging solutions. The position is highly execution-focused and involves working in laboratory and technical environments, where you will perform experiments, analyze data, and collaborate with technical experts to support innovation projects. Following onboarding and training, you will be expected to independently execute routine experimental work while adhering to quality and safety standards., * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Packaging Technology, Materials Science, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related technical field.

• Knowledge of laboratory testing procedures and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).

• Experience performing laboratory tests, analyzing results, and accurately documenting findings.

• Basic proficiency in 2D CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar tools for creating technical drawings and packaging layouts.

• Strong skills in Microsoft Office 365 applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook). *

Ability and willingness to learn Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software and technical documentation systems.

• Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to data collection and reporting.

• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Knowledge of packaging materials and technologies, including:

PET and HDPE bottles ; Paper and corrugated packaging ; Polymer resins; Packaging manufacturing and conversion processes
