Job description
- Support systems engineering activities for the Ground Weapons System (GWS) program and Ground Fire Control (GFC) product.
- Apply systems engineering processes and principles to develop product solutions.
- Support requirements development, analysis, management, and verification.
- Apply Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies using DOORS and Cameo.
- Develop and maintain systems engineering work products, presentations, and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams across varying experience levels.
- Support software development and requirements verification activities.
Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law
- Must possess an active Secret security clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) discipline from an accredited university preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with 2 years of related experience; Master’s degree in a STEM discipline with 0 years of related experience; or 6 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
- Solid understanding of systems engineering processes and principles with demonstrated experience applying them to product solution development.
- Familiarity with DOORS, Cameo, and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
- Experience with software development and requirements verification.
- Ability to develop and capture technical concepts in engineering work products, presentations, and technical discussions.
- Must be able to support an in-person, closed-area work environment and travel up to 10% to support business needs., * Experience supporting the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD) program.
- Battle Management or Fire Control experience.
- MBSE or INCOSE certification.
- Experience developing systems engineering artifacts, including specifications, Interface Control Documents (ICDs), Use Cases, System Architecture Descriptions, Trade Studies, and related technical documentation.
