Job description

Our software supports organisations with areas including registration, renewals, professional standards, fitness to practise, continuing professional development and public registers.

We are expanding our products and client base in the UK and internationally and are looking for talented people with a strong academic background who want to build a long-term career in technology.

The Opportunity

You will initially join either our Client Support or Software Testing team, giving you the opportunity to learn our products, technology and clients from the ground up.

You will work closely with experienced developers, business analysts and project managers and gain hands-on experience configuring, testing and developing enterprise software.

As your knowledge and experience grow, you will have the opportunity to progress into areas such as:

·Software development

·Business analysis

·Project management

·Software testing and quality assurance

·Client solution configuration

·Product development and product ownership

This is an opportunity to develop broad technical and commercial experience and build a career within a growing software business.

Requirements

Applicants should have a degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering or Chemistry.

You should also have:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • A genuine interest in software and technology
  • Some programming experience
  • An understanding of object-oriented programming
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A willingness to learn new technologies
  • The ambition to develop quickly and take on increasing responsibility

Experience with some of the following would be advantageous, but we do not expect applicants to have experience with all of them:

C# / .NET / .NET Core / ASP.NET / MVC / JavaScript / Svelte / Bootstrap / Tailwind / SQL Server / Entity Framework / JSON / Git / NUnit / Visual Studio / NServiceBus
