Job description

We are seeking an experienced Oracle EBS Financials Functional Consultant (R12) for a long-term engagement on-site in Bethesda, MD. In this role, you will act as the primary functional subject matter expert leading business process definition, configuration, requirements gathering, and system support for Oracle Financials and Procurement modules-specifically General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Purchasing (PO), and the end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) lifecycle. Prior experience with federal accounting standards or government project support is a strong plus.

Requirements

· 12+ years of hands-on experience as an Oracle EBS Financials Functional Consultant with deep R12 (12.1.3 / 12.2.x) expertise.

· Complete functional mastery over core modules and cross-module business flows: GL, AP, AR, PO, and Procure-to-Pay (P2P).

· Demonstrated ability to author functional specification documents (MD050/BR030) and lead CRP/UAT sessions.

· Strong business process understanding across accounting, invoicing, procurement, collections, and financial reconciliation.

· Basic working knowledge of SQL to query database tables for troubleshooting and validation.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Federal Government / Public Sector accounting experience (e.g., USSGL, Prompt Payment Act, Federal Purchasing rules, Treasury integrations) is a major plus.

· Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) in Oracle E-Business Suite Financials.
