Job description
ECS is seeking a TS-cleared Junior Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to support one of our mission critical programs for the Department of Justice in Washington, DC .
We offer the chance to support the world’s finest law enforcement organization and help the people that keep us safe. In this job you will support FBI information systems through disciplined execution of security authorization, continuous monitoring, documentation, and remediation activities.
We are seeking candidates committed to high quality to provide innovative solutions. As a Junior Information System Security Officer, you will provide day-to-day ISSO support for assigned FBI systems across the RMF lifecycle. Maintain SAA documentation and calendars; track control evidence, POA&Ms, vulnerabilities, annual requirements, and data calls; coordinate with system owners and senior security personnel; and escalate issues that could affect authorization, compliance, or mission support.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following disciplines (Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or Software Engineering) + OR One of the following Certifications (GMON, Security X/CASP+, CCISO, CCSP, CGRC/CAP, CISSO, Cloud+, GCSA, GSEC, Security+, SSCP) * US citizenship with active Top Secret clearance * Must meet applicable FBI TS/SCI, background, training, facility-access, and polygraph requirements. * Demonstrated ability to execute SAA/RMF support and maintain accurate security documentation.
