Research Engineer - Machine Learning

At NeuralTrust, we’re looking for a AI Research Engineer (PhD required) to lead our product vision, shape our platform strategy, and work closely with enterprise clients to secure and scale their AI transformation.We’re a Barcelona-based startup that is rapidly scaling globally to become a leader in AI agent security.Our platform enables organizations to secure agent systems, covering both exposure management and runtime security.Backed by leading European investors and collaborating with top Spanish universities, NeuralTrust operates at the intersection of cybersecurity and AI.Apply state-of-the-art research in NLP, LLMs, and generative AI to production systems.Lead experiments in fine-tuning, evaluation, and deployment of advanced models.Develop efficient pipelines for large-scale data and model training.Collaborate with engineering and product teams to turn research into practical solutions.Stay at the frontier of AI by evaluating new research and integrating findings.This role requires a PhD in AI, Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, Computer Science, or a closely related field.PhD with strong research experience in AI/ML (NLP, generative AI, or similar).Strong coding skills in Python and familiarity with frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow.Comfortable bridging research and engineering: from theory to production.Hybrid remote flexibility (work part of the week remotely, with periods of full remote).
