Senior SAP Production Planning Analyst

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Digital & IT Analyst with deep SAP Production Planning experience to support its NVH Division in Erie, PA. This individual will provide configuration, integration, and daily production support across the SAP ECC ecosystem, with a primary focus on SAP PP and the broader Plan-to-Produce process.

The Analyst will partner with manufacturing, materials, quality, maintenance, operations, and IT stakeholders to understand current business processes, identify improvement opportunities, and translate operational requirements into scalable SAP solutions. This person will help define functional roadmaps, manage business systems and ERP projects, document requirements, coordinate testing, and support successful implementations.

The ideal candidate is not just a production-support analyst. They should be comfortable taking ownership of projects and solutions from initial discovery through go-live and post-production stabilization. They will also troubleshoot complex user issues, lead UAT activities, support system and interface monitoring, develop KPI metrics, and deliver training and knowledge transfer to business users and IT team members.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a closely related field.

• 7+ years of experience combining business process knowledge with business or systems analysis expertise.

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP ECC and the SAP Production Planning module.

• Experience configuring and supporting SAP PP in a manufacturing environment.

• Strong knowledge of Plan-to-Produce processes and integration across manufacturing operations.

• Experience gathering requirements and translating business needs into functional and technical requirements.

• Ability to lead or co-lead SAP projects through requirements, configuration, testing, training, implementation, and production support.

• Experience resolving complex production issues and partnering directly with business users.

• Strong understanding of the systems development lifecycle.

• Experience leading or coordinating User Acceptance Testing.

• U.S. citizenship, permanent residency, or other appropriate work authorization. Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience integrating SAP PP with MM, QM, PM, Operations, and other SAP modules.

• Experience with production planning, materials management, quality management, plant maintenance, or shop-floor operations.

• Experience with ServiceNow or a similar ticketing system.

• Experience creating process flows, user guides, testing documentation, training materials, and operating procedures.

• Project leadership or project management experience.

• Experience establishing and monitoring operational KPIs.

• Experience supporting a global or matrixed manufacturing organization.

Salary: $115-$125k
