Software Engineering - Senior Engineer

This role will focus on designing and operating secure, scalable Java-based microservices that support critical financial services technology. The Senior Engineer will help deliver AI-enabled capabilities, strengthen application security, and improve performance across event-driven systems. This position partners closely with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into reliable, high-quality technical solutions., * Design and operate secure, scalable Java microservices

• Implement LLM-powered features with rigorous coding standards
• Utilize AI-assisted tools for development while ensuring quality output
• Lead discussions and reviews to enhance code quality and architectural clarity
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet business requirements and security compliance
• Identify and fix performance bottlenecks through architectural improvements

• Extensive hands-on experience with core Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture
• Experience integrating LLM APIs, including Anthropic, Bedrock, and OpenAI, into production services
• Working knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases and their use cases
• Strong foundation in application security, with a focus on encryption and secure API design
• Fluency in tuning high-throughput systems and event-driven architectures
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing practices
