Job description

We are seeking a strategic, highly analytical, and proactive SCM Specialist to play a critical role in optimizing our North American supply chain operations. Reporting to the Director of SCM, this exempt position requires a high degree of independent judgment and discretion in managing complex cross-border logistics, inventory allocation strategies, and 3PL vendor relationships.

The ideal candidate will move beyond daily transactional tasks to analyze supply chain bottlenecks, independently resolve high-level customs or freight disputes, and design standard operating procedures (SOPs) that ensure seamless fulfillment across our B2B wholesale, D2C e-commerce, and fast-paced pop-up retail networks., * Freight Strategy & Routing: Analyze inbound/outbound shipping volumes and independently determine optimal freight routing (air vs. ocean vs. ground) to balance landing costs with urgent business needs.

  • Customs & Regulatory Resolution: Proactively manage and resolve complex US Customs holds, FDA/MoCRA compliance issues, and port delays without constant supervision, ensuring minimal disruption to the supply chain.
  • Vendor Rate Negotiation: Negotiate spot rates and evaluate service agreements with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and drayage carriers to achieve cost savings.
  • SLA Enforcement: Monitor and evaluate the daily performance of 3PL fulfillment partners across the US and Canada. Independently identify performance gaps (e.g., picking errors, delays) and enforce corrective action plans.
  • Complex Dispute Resolution: Investigate and resolve high-level claims for damaged goods, lost inventory, or major receiving discrepancies with 3PLs and carriers, negotiating financial settlements or credits when necessary.
  • Strategic Allocation: Analyze sales velocity and demand forecasts to develop and execute inventory allocation strategies for high-traffic pop-up events, B2B wholesale orders, and D2C platforms (Amazon FBA, TikTok Shop).
  • Inventory Risk Management: Assess safety stock levels and proactively implement contingency plans to mitigate out-of-stock risks or overstock situations.
  • ERP/TDMS Governance: Oversee the integrity of inventory data within the company’s ERP and TDMS systems, leading periodic audits and reconciliation processes.
  • SOP Development: Evaluate existing logistics workflows, identify inefficiencies, and design new Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to streamline omnichannel fulfillment and B2B routing compliance.
  • Cross-Functional Guidance: Act as a senior technical resource, advising the Sales and Operations teams on lead times, fulfillment capabilities, and freight cost implications for major promotional campaigns.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3+ years of progressive supply chain, logistics, or operations experience with a track record of exercising independent judgment in resolving complex supply chain issues.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced analytical skills with high proficiency in MS Excel (data modeling, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and ERP/WMS systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP).
  • Bilingual Proficiency: Native or professional fluency in English and Korean or Chinese
  • Deep understanding of complex retail routing guides, Amazon Seller/Vendor Central logistics, and 3PL network optimization.
  • Supply chain certifications (e.g., APICS CSCP, CPIM).

Benefits & conditions

  • Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance (Fully covered for employee)
  • 401(k) Retirement Plan with generous Company Match
  • Paid Time Off
  • Daily complimentary lunch provided
