Job description

Are you looking for a role to solve complex technology challenges using cloud technologies and broaden your business acumen? This is an exciting opportunity to up-skill in a variety of technologies and play a vital role in the re-design of the My Accounts website that allows our State Farm customers to manage their accounts and services.

Requirements

Qualified candidates must live within close proximity to a hub location listed below and should plan to spend time working from home and some time working in the office as part of our hybrid work environment, We Are Seeking Candidates With:

  • Experience in some of the following programming languages (e.g. Java, JavaScript, React, Angular, Kotlin, Node.js)
  • Full Stack Development
  • AWS services and architecture
  • OpenTofu experience/knowledge
  • Spring Boot
  • SOAP/Restful webservices Development

Additional

  • Experience in software engineering topics, including classes, functions, security, version control, CI/CD, and unit tests
  • JSON, XML, Spring MVC, CSS, Junit
  • Familiar with test automation
  • Version control tools experience such as GIT
  • 3+ years of production experience, coding enterprise-grade applications and services
  • Work experience in a collaborative team environment
  • Ability to learn and adopt new technologies and languages

  • Potential starting salary range: $90,000 - $140,000
  • Starting salary will be based on skills, background, and experience
  • High end of the range limited to applicants with significant relevant experience
  • Potential yearly incentive pay up to 15% of base salary
