Data Center Hardware & Support Technician

• Hardware & Infrastructure Support: Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for enterprise server, storage, network, rack, power, and cabling infrastructure. Execute rack-and-stack installations, hardware replacements, relocations, and decommissioning projects.
• Troubleshooting & Problem Resolution: Troubleshoot and restore routine technical service and equipment problems by analyzing faults. Perform root cause analysis, create diagnostic checklists, and maintain knowledge and call-tracking databases.
• Cabling & Environmental Management: Manage structured copper and fiber cabling standards while monitoring data center power, cooling, environmental monitoring, capacity, and redundancy concepts.
• Process & Vendor Coordination: Operate within formal incident, change, and problem management frameworks. Interpret rack elevations and infrastructure diagrams while coordinating vendors, contractors, and colocation providers.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Center Hardware & Support Technician to manage Tier 1 and Tier 2 software and hardware support within mission-critical operational environments. In this role, you will provide technical advice, guide customers, and perform hands-on installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting for enterprise server, storage, network, and power infrastructure. You will leverage established processes, root cause analysis, and knowledge databases to restore technical services, prevent recurring issues, and ensure seamless colocation operations., * Experience: Demonstrated professional experience supporting enterprise data center or colocation environments.

• Technical Knowledge: Strong hands-on knowledge of enterprise hardware, server/storage systems, cabling standards (copper/fiber), and DCIM or asset management platforms.
• Operational Skills: Ability to independently prioritize work in mission-critical environments, interpret technical documentation and infrastructure diagrams, and participate in scheduled maintenance or after-hours incident response.
• Core Competencies: Strong troubleshooting, organizational, documentation, and communication skills to share information effectively within a collaborative team setting.
