Job description

Develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications supporting large-scale distributed computing clusters.
Support mission-critical systems across the full software development lifecycle within Linux and AWS environments.
Utilize containerized architectures, modern CI/CD pipelines, and high-performance data technologies including Hadoop, Accumulo, NiFi, and MongoDB., * Design, develop, integrate, test, and sustain Java-based applications within large-scale distributed computing environments.
Participate in all phases of the Agile software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis and design through deployment and sustainment.
Integrate and extend commercial (COTS) and government off-the-shelf (GOTS) software technologies.
Build and deploy containerized services and microservices using modern CI/CD practices and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Perform code reviews, architectural evaluations, root cause analysis, and performance tuning.
Support operational systems, troubleshoot complex defects, and assist with Tier III on-call engineering support.
Develop and maintain software components using languages including Java, C/C++, Python, and Bash on Linux platforms.
Interface with distributed datastores and messaging technologies such as Apache Hadoop, Accumulo, NiFi, ActiveMQ, and MongoDB.
