Job description

  • Provide operational Linux systems administration, troubleshooting, and customer support for a large-scale cloud analytics platform.
  • Ensure day-to-day system stability, incident resolution, and operational support across Tier 1 through Tier 3 evening or mid shifts.
  • Maintain and optimize managed infrastructure integrating Kubernetes, Hadoop, Accumulo, and containerized workflows., * Deliver day-to-day operations stability, technical support, and troubleshooting in an enterprise Linux (RedHat/CentOS) environment.
  • Administer and configure Linux networking, firewall settings, DNS administration, and automated provisioning.
  • Manage and support cloud and container orchestration technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, Hadoop, and Accumulo.
  • Develop and implement automation and maintenance scripts using Python and Bash.
  • Utilize configuration management tools such as Ansible or Salt to automate infrastructure tasks.
  • Monitor platform performance, track operational metrics, and manage tickets using Prometheus, Grafana, and JIRA.

Requirements

  • Degree: Technical bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Years of experience: 5+ years
  • Total Compensation: $276k+ yearly (tentative)
