Job description
- Administer and engineer distributed Hadoop and Accumulo clusters in enterprise Linux environments.
- Deploy, configure, and manage containerized services using Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm.
- Develop automation scripts and maintain infrastructure as code using Bash, Python, Ansible, and Terraform.
- Ensure system observability, performance, and reliability using Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, and OpenSearch., * Monitor system health, performance, and reliability across large-scale distributed clusters.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware, software, network, and cloud platform issues, performing root cause analysis.
- Administer, tune, and maintain Hadoop (HDFS, YARN) and Accumulo environments along with distributed storage systems.
- Deploy, manage, and scale containerized workloads using Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm.
- Build and maintain automation scripts and Infrastructure-as-Code deployments with Bash, Python, Ansible, Puppet, or Terraform.
- Maintain observability and alerting frameworks using Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, and OpenSearch.
- Perform Linux operating system patching, upgrades, and system hardening in accordance with security compliance standards.
- Troubleshoot networking configurations including VLANs, TCP/IP, and load balancers.
- Support storage architectures, data replication strategies, and disaster recovery operations.
Requirements
- Degree: Technical bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Years of experience: 5+ years
- Total Compensation: $276k+ yearly (tentative)
