Job description

Design, build and maintain full stack web applications with a Python backend
Develop and consume RESTful APIs
Work across both backend services and frontend interfaces
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, QA and other engineers
Write clean, tested, maintainable code and participate in code review
Contribute to architecture and technical decision-making within the team
Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the stack in a production environment

Fullstack, We are a global retail business seeking a Full Stack Python Developer to join our technology team on an initial 6-month contract, with a view to extend. This is a hands-on role working across the full stack to build and maintain customer-facing and internal platforms. The role is hybrid, with 2 days per week required on-site at our London office. The contract rate is £650-£750 per day, inside IR35.

Requirements

Strong commercial experience as a Full Stack Developer with Python (Django or Flask)
Experience with JavaScript and TypeScript
Solid frontend experience (React, Vue or similar JavaScript framework)
Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and API design
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and CI/CD pipelines
Comfortable working in an agile environment
Experience in retail, e-commerce or high-traffic consumer platforms is advantageous
Must be able to work on-site in London 2 days per week
