Enterprise Architect

This is a senior-level Enterprise Architect role focused on establishing an enterprise architecture practice and creating a coherent current-to-target state across a complex technology ecosystem. You’ll assess the current application and technology landscape, define current-state, target-state, and transitional architectures, identify critical dependencies, and guide modernization sequencing. You’ll work across ERP, POS, eCommerce, integrations/APIs, data platforms, cloud/SaaS, and legacy technologies while partnering with technical teams, business stakeholders, and strategic vendors. This is a hands-on transformation role for an architect who can bring structure and direction to a complex environment without being tied to a single platform or technology.

• Significant enterprise architecture leadership experience across complex technology environments.
• Strong experience with current/target-state modeling, integration architecture, dependency mapping, modernization sequencing, and architecture decision-making.
• Broad architecture knowledge across applications, integrations/APIs, data platforms, cloud/SaaS, and hybrid environments.
• Experience modernizing legacy technology environments while maintaining ongoing business operations.
• Ability to design pragmatic transitional architectures where legacy and modern platforms must coexist.
• Technical breadth across ERP, POS, eCommerce, APIs/integration, data platforms, cloud/SaaS, and identity/security concepts.
• Understanding of Oracle enterprise environments without being an Oracle-only architect.
• Strong executive communication skills with the ability to constructively challenge internal teams, vendors, and proposed solution architectures.
• Retail technology experience is strongly preferred; distribution, supply chain, or other transaction-intensive enterprise experience is also valuable.
