Senior Appian Developer

Design, develop, and implement Appian applications, including process models, SAIL interfaces, data models, and integrations. Lead end-to-end Appian project delivery from requirements gathering through deployment and production support. Build and optimize SAIL interfaces, process models, decision rules, sites, and record types. Integrate Appian with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, Connected Systems, Web Services, and database connections. Design and implement complex data models, including CDTs and relational database structures. Optimize application performance, scalability, and maintainability according to Appian best practices. Conduct code reviews and mentor junior and mid-level developers. Collaborate with business analysts, architects, QA teams, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis. Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to solution design decisions. We are seeking an experienced Senior Appian Developer with 6 10 years of IT experience and 5+ years of hands-on Appian development experience. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in the Appian low-code/BPM platform and experience designing, developing, integrating, and deploying enterprise-grade business process automation solutions., 6 10 years of overall IT experience with 5+ years of hands-on Appian development. Strong proficiency in Appian SAIL, process modeling, interfaces, records, sites, and reports. Strong understanding of BPM concepts and workflow automation. Experience integrating Appian with REST/SOAP web services, SQL Server, Oracle, and third-party systems. Knowledge of Appian security models, groups, and user administration. Strong problem-solving, debugging, and performance-tuning skills. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
