Deployment Network Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a Deployment Network Engineer for a Contract job with a client in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on experience with Versa SD-WAN deployments, Cisco routing and switching, and enterprise network infrastructure, along with expertise supporting large-scale network transformation initiatives. Rate Range: $58/hour to $61/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Deployment Network Engineer job responsibilities include: Design, deploy, configure, and support Versa SD-WAN solutions across enterprise network environments. Implement and maintain SD-WAN architectures including Branch connectivity, WAN optimization, routing policies, and network segmentation. Configure and troubleshoot Cisco Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking technologies, including routing, switching, and enterprise connectivity solutions. Support data center networking environments utilizing Cisco Nexus and Juniper technologies. Manage Versa SD-WAN platform components including Versa Director, Versa Analytics, controllers, templates, and centralized policy management. Perform network migration, deployment, testing, and validation activities to ensure successful implementation of SD-WAN solutions. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred. 4+ years of hands-on experience with: Versa SD-WAN Versa Director Versa Analytics SD-WAN Deployments 6-10 years of overall networking experience. Strong expertise in: Cisco Routing & Switching Layer 2 Networking Layer 3 Networking Network Design WAN Technologies Enterprise Networking Experience with: Cisco Nexus Juniper Networks Data Center Networking Network Migration Projects Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Experience working within enterprise-scale network environments. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with additional SD-WAN technologies such as: VMware VeloCloud
