Energy Systems Technologist

BP Energy is seeking a Senior Technologist to drive complex technical solutions across our oil, gas, and low carbon portfolio. In this role, you will lead the design, analysis, and optimization of energy systems, using data, digital tools, and deep domain expertise to enhance reliability, efficiency, and safety. You will collaborate with diverse, global teams, mentor junior staff, and help deploy innovative and sustainable technologies. Responsibilities

• Lead design, analysis, and optimization of energy systems across oil, gas, and low carbon assets
• Develop and implement technical solutions to improve reliability, efficiency, and safety
• Leverage data and digital tools to monitor performance and recommend improvements
• Collaborate with cross functional and global teams on complex energy projects
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and operational standards
• Prepare technical reports, documentation, and recommendations for leadership
• Mentor junior engineers and technologists, supporting skill development
