As a Security Officer Full Time Access Rights Administrator in Leesburg, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a technology-focused location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and maintain a professional, welcoming presence. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. • Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and support controlled entry and exit processes for sensitive areas.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, building areas, and the perimeter to identify and report security-related concerns or unauthorized activity.
• Document incidents, access-control activities, and policy exceptions accurately and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Possess a college degree.
• Type at least 40 words per minute.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
